SUMMER IN REVIEW

We went to Lake Powell with Dillons family. Gage had fun playing in the sand, he does not seem to like going off the slide on the house boat. Hopefully he will not need counseling later in life. Mia had fun getting held and loved by all. Thanks to all for helping out with our kids and just for helping make Lake Powell great.

Gage turned 3 this August. He enjoyed opening all of his presents, tears were shed when we sang Happy Birthday to him (he is a very tender fella). He loves all of his present thanks for the gifts. We love him and cannot imagine life without him, we can't believe it has been 3 years already. We are so lucky to have him in our lives.

We went to St George one weekend and got to enjoy a day in Zion National Park. The kids got to catch frogs and do some cliff jumping into the river. We went to Sand Hollow the next day. Some enjoyed boating while others enjoyed sitting under a canopy nursing and keeping their 4 months old out of the sun :)

Spudman 2009. It is offical, I am a Triathlete hehe. I had lots of fun and thanks to Lyndsey and Christy for inviting me. We should do it again next year.

SUMMER REVIEW PART 2

In June Dillon did his first triathlon with his cousin Jake. They did the Scofield Tri and did great. Nikki (Jakes wife), Gage, Mia and I went to watch them cross the finish line.

This is the Kiddos on the 4th of July. Sorry the pictures are kinda dark I was playing around with the camera. Started out the day with the freedom festival run (not pictured), and since the folks were out of town no omletes so we did the next best thing and had Kneaders french toast....delicous. We then went and saw the movie UP and had a BBQ with Dillons parents and enjoyed the wonderful PG Fireworks.

Nick and Amy sent this little outfit so I thought I would model her in it so that they could see it. Don't you just want to eat those cheeks with toast? We all know you do Bob!!

Dillon did the wasatch Back this year. It was a painful experiance for him, he has bad plantar fasciitis in both feet. They finished and I am hoping to do it next year!

Our Crazy Life

Now that Mia is almost three months old I thought I would put a few pictures of her, I guess you could say that life with two is kicking my butt! I know that once Mia is a bit older things will get better hopefully.
I'm loving this baby girl she brings such a sweet spirit into our home, I love it when she gives me big smiles and those cheeks are so yummy.
The last few months seem like a blur we have been busy! Dillon is finishing up a class for his BS and then training to do the Wasatch Back and the Scofield Triathlon, I'm trying to get back in shape and thought no better way then doing the Spud Man in Idaho! We are enjoy life as crazy as it is.

Our early arrival

Baby girl is here she came five weeks early, she has spent the last three weeks in the hospital needing an antibiotic because she had meningitis and pneumonia, she also had some trouble with her breathing which is very common with preemies so she had a c-pap for the first week in the hospital, she has her last dose of the antibiotic tonight and then its just a matter of her being able to eat enough and keep gaining weight so where hoping by this weekend she will get to come home!!

We love our little bundle of joy and can't wait to have her home.

Thanks to everyone who have been so helpful all the delicious meals, watching Gage and most importantly the prayers, we have definitely felt Heavenly Fathers hands in all of this and have felt so blessed.

MIA from the blog world

So I've been missing in action in the blog world, so I thought I would give a little update of whats been happening in our lives the last little bit.
First of all for those of you who read this blog and I don't run into once in awhile we are expecting baby number 2, its a girl!! and I'm due in like 6 weeks (but whose counting). Everything seems to be going well and we are anxiously awaiting her arrival.
Gage is busy as ever and has been loving the warmer weather getting outside is fantastic, we have now moved him into a big boy bed (mattress and box spring) and the transition has been surprisingly smooth. We are now ready for the next phase potty training!!
Dillon interviewed a few weeks ago at BYU for Nurse Practitioner School, sadly enough we got a rejection letter in the mail shortly after, so we will be saving our money and applying again next year.
That's pretty much our life right now.

Christmas in Florida

For Christmas this year Chris and Jodie took the whole family to Disney World, we had a great time going to all the parks, enjoying some nice sunny weather and just spending time together as a family.
Now this is not something I wouldn't want to do every year because it didn't really feel like Christmas but it was fun and more relaxing then most of our Christmas's.
Thanks so much for the good times and memories!!
