Funny Boy

So the other day and by that I mean a few weeks ago I was cleaning the bathroom and I put my necklaces on the floor so I could clean any way Gage found a few that I don't really wear so I was letting him play with them and when I came out of the bathroom this is what I found.

Sorry the pictures are a little blurry but I thought it was pretty funny, hey there's no such thing as to many accessories right!

Lake Powell with the Olsen's

So we went to lake Powell the beginning of September its just taken me awhile to get around to posting some pictures of our fun trip!!
I love Lake Powell!! I especially love it this time of year the temperature is great, warm but not miserable and it cools off at night so you can actually sleep.
This year the highlight of the trip was this huge slide and ramp that the boys all put together, it was definitely a group effort and took awhile to assemble not having all the proper tools and equipment, once they got it together they spent many hours taking turns trying to get some major air, a few of the girls where brave enough to try it mostly we just watch taking video and pictures of the guys. They got really brave and got pulled of the ramp by one of the wave runners. They got some serious air and distance, when they finally got the ramp and everything right it broke. There is already talk of how to make the ramp bigger and better for next year. I thought they wre lucky to get away this year with no serious injuries. Next year may be a different story, silly boys.

Check it off the life list

Hiking to the top of Timp. has always been on my life list and as of Saturday I can now check that off!!
We got up at 5:00 a.m. Saturday morning and headed to the Timpanoke trail head where we met a bunch of Dillon's family and we started the trek, for the first few miles we all stayed together but when the other group wanted to stop and rest and have some lunch that's when Dillon, Jodie and I took off with out them we all just needed to keep on trekking we made it all the way to the top and the view was amazing. We are so blessed to live in such beautiful country and its practically in our back yard.

Thank You Amy for watching Gage.

Here's the group that went with us

Jack Johnson

Monday Night we went to the Jack Johnson concert at the USANA Amphitheater its such a great venue to listen a concert, we had a wonderful time watching people there where such a variety from really young (I think almost to young) to some old but his music caters to everyone.

Thanks to Chris and Jodie for taking us all we had a great time and maybe next time Dillon won't drive so crazy.

Birthday Boy

I can't believe another year has come and gone Gage is growing up!! I'm so glad that this little man is in my life, every day he gives me a reason to smile and laugh even though sometimes laughing isn't the first instinct. He's a great alarm clock I'm usually up before him but on those mornings that I just can't seem to get out of bed I love to hear him yell from the other room "lowa, lowa". Lets not forget what a big helper he is washing dishes, vacumming, feeding Lexi and all the other things that he likes to help out with.
Happy Birthay Gagee Boy we love you!!Gage opening presents from Gandma and PapaGage rockin out to the music that plays on his new bike Gage was a little nervous when we sang Happy Birthday and needed help blowing out the candles

Here's a picture of the three of us I like how Gage tilted his head for this picture.

I had to put this one on for Dillon he was so proud of the action shot he took.

Boulder Mountain

This last weekend we took a little camping trip with Dillon's family to Boulder Mountain, We had a great time fishing, riding our bikes, sitting around the camp fire we spent a lot of time around the fire because we where so high up when the sun went down it got quite chilly.
I'm glad that I got to spent time in such a beautiful place and with some of my favorite people. Thanks to Chris and Jodie for the great time and wonderful memories. Thanks Uncle Ry for playing with Gage and letting him chase you for hours on end.
This is a view our our campsite

Gage all snugly with Grandma

Gage sharing chips with Ry

Jodie has a big grin on her face because as I was trying to take the picture the fish got off the hood and so she was trying to just hold and and it kept jumping out of her hand it was quite funny to watch.
