Lake Powell with the Lamoreaux's

We went to Lake Powell this last week. Its one of my favorite places, I love that you just live in the swimming suite and then when you get to hot you just jump in the lake and the water's not freezing just refreshing.
Vacationing with the Lamoreaux's means there's not shortage of food so we definitely ate good every night, thanks to my Dad and uncles for taking care of the food it was great!!
We also had a great time riding on the Big Mable, wet banana, cliff jumping and even got some wake boarding in sorry I don't have any action photos I was really bad about taking pictures I did at least take some.
Gage had a good time other then the cold he came down with that made him miserable most of the time but I think he still enjoyed himself.
Thanks again to my Dad and uncles for making this trip possible and all the work and money you put into it.

Our 4th of July

We started our 4Th of July off with the Freedom Festival 10k run this is something I've wanted to do for a long time and just never have so this was the year I guess, it was a great run and I think we may have started a new tradition.
Then after the race it was off to my parents house for Omelets, we ate and chatted all morning long its always great to be with family.
After a lazy afternoon we had dinner with Chris and Jodie at Costa Vida and then dropped Gage off for Jeff to watch him while we went to Stadium of Fire we had a great time it was very patriotic and I quite enjoyed the Blue Man Group if only we could have seen more, oh and I guess I should mention Miley Cyrus she did a good job as well.

Fishing

While I was running in the Wasatch Back Dillon and his Dad took Gage fishing, he had a great time the only mishap was Gage throwing Dillon's pole into the Lake makes fishing a little difficult. Greg and Gage on the boat
Dillon and Gage on the boat
Gage almost kissed the fish, he opted to pet it instead.

Gage driving the boat I'm sure this is where he spent the majority of the time (by the way do you like how he put his hat on, um not really doing the job?)

Wasatch Back

I know this happened a few weeks ago but I just had to post something about it. On June 20-21st Team Sweetness busted out 178 miles starting in Logan and ending in Park City, it took us 28 hours and 27 minutes not bad for not really being avid runners. The scenery was beautiful especially during our middle of the night run, the moon had been full just a few days before so the reflection off the lake was amazing, it was definitely hot and there wasn't a lot of sleeping but it was a great experience and I'm grateful for the friendships and memories that where made and I can't wait until next year. Team Sweetness at the finishDillon and Gage came to meet me at the finish line, poor guys had to wait forever.
